De Vese Single Site chardonnay 2025

Has quite a deep colour. But it is quite bright and lustrous. Initial aromas of stone fruit, meal, and nougat emerge. The palate is where it really starts to deliver. It's rich and textured, but at the same time, refined and quite linear. Has a nice lemon meringue, grapefruit pithiness providing deep complexity. Finely focused finish completes what is an excellent wine.
