Clairault Chardonnay 2022

A precise and distinctly linear chardonnay from a vintage that turned out pretty well after a hot start. Fine lift of citrus and grapefruit on the nose with a lightly played oak influence very much understated. The palate is fine and quite delicately balanced but there is excellent penetrating fruit focussed to a long finish. Minerally with a slightly citrus tang on the finish.
