Churchview The Bartondale chardonnay 2024

Earlier picking has captured the essential fruit characters of chardonnay in this warm year. Wild fermented and then matured in a mix of new and second-fill French oak for 10 months with regular lees stirring. Built with concentration, richness, and texture, while retaining a fine savoury, slightly citrusy grapefruit edge. A subtle touch of butterscotch brings the palate to life. Balanced and one of the better examples of this wine.
