The trick with shiraz viognier is not to get carried away for the highly aromatic viognier. In this case the balance has been struck precisely and the influence is perfectly weighted. The two varieties were co-fermented then matured for 14 months. The nose has a lifted perfume reflecting the viognier with deep plummy notes. The palate is soft and generous with a plush velvety feel.
