Cherubino Laissez Faire mencia 2023

Cherubino started releasing this wine a few years ago, and I’ve been a fan ever since. I love the variety for its approachability, its flavours and generosity, but with its understatement and gentle poise. This wine is medium-bodied, with lovely weight and textural feel. Plush red fruits show a nice raspberry-plum combination. The palate is seamlessly integrated, with some nice French oak contributing. It’s a very pure expression of the variety.
