This is a generous, full, powerful chardonnay from this warm year. It was handpicked, whole-bunch pressed, then wild-fermented in oak before a further 10 months of maturation. The nose shows those distinctive lemon meringue, stone fruit, and citrus notes, while the palate delivers more chalky lemon curd flavours. Striking. A perfect balance of oak and fruit.
