Ampersand Estates pinot noir 2024

This was a warm year in Pemberton, and yet it's a region that managed to produce some impressive pinot noir—and this one is a beauty. On the nose, there's that lovely combination of spicy red berry notes with a really subtle, slightly damp earth, truffly nuance sitting within. It's all captured neatly and with excellent composition on a palate which offers layered complexity, but with that defining lingering acidity which is pinot noir. Captures so much of what Pemberton does with this variety. First-rate wine.
