Alkoomi Family Collection cabernet sauvignon 2024

Plenty of varietal character and poise in this cabernet sauvignon. A mix of black fruits and subtle ironstone on the nose, with a little chocolatey bay leaf character. The palate is generous and slightly medium-bodied, but there's stacks in there, with a tight inner core of tannin and oak wrapped by that almost fleshy black fruit richness of these old-vine fruits. Balanced, poised, and with a very long finish.
