In this case, the sauvignon blanc was sourced out of Karridale, well to the south of Margaret River, and was wild fermented in French barriques with lees stirring and 10 months of maturation. Riesling

This is a real crunchy, lively, fruity riesling sourced out of Frankland River in this warm year. The nose displays a slightly bath salty sherbet like character with liberal spices and lemony notes. The palate is zingy with a minerally edge and plenty of citrus notes. Drinking quite beautifully now, but as you would expect, it has cellaring potential.

A deliciously appealing wine from an excellent vintage. A small addition of viognier adds its character beautifully, complementing the gingery, apricot notes of the viognier with the savoury plum and lightly liqueur-style cherries of shiraz. Smooth, seamless, and structured with poise. An elegant and very smart example of this style.
