Devil's Lair 9th Chamber Chardonnay 2021

Such a fine and delicately crafted chardonnay. Deep and penetrating aromas of butterscotch, brioche and almond meal, all presented with restraint. The palate has a creamy texture, with notes of quince and honeycomb, but it's held to a keen focus by the fine-grained oak and racy acidity. Very long and controlled palate of great precision is a feature.
