Windance Glen Valley chardonnay 2024

An excellent wine that was picked quite early to avoid the later searing heat, but everything came together, and the fruit was in good balance, and it shows. Aromas of brioche, toasty stone fruit, with a fairly typical peachy nectarine character on the palate. Other combinations of pie crust, light cashew and a slightly grapefruit pithiness add to the complexity. But it's quite a fine, elegant style with pristine fruit evident. It manages to combine depth as well and presents it in a delightful linear fashion.
