Jilyara Honeycomb Corner cabernet sauvignon 2023

This is a first-rate wine from this terrific vintage and probably the best I've seen under this label. It's medium-bodied but with good flavour intensity. A nice mix of blackcurrant and florals on the nose. The palate is elegant, balanced and poised, striking a perfect balance between oak, fruit and tannins. It's deceptively long as it builds through to its sustained finish. Lovely sweet, spicy combinations add further complexity. A first-rate little wine, and great value.
