Jilyara is a family-owned wine label based in Wilyabrup, Margaret River, with a vineyard originally planted in 1996. The Cotterell-Bergstrom family established the label in 2018, producing wines focused on purity, detail and expression of site. The name Jilyara comes from the former name of the farm and means “bees” in the local Noongar language. Winemaker Kate Morgan has been involved since the label’s establishment, drawing on local and international experience to produce wines that reflect the vineyard’s fruit and terroir. Jilyara produces three collections: Honeycomb Corner, Heath Road and Williams’ Block.
