Jilyara Heath Road malbec 2024

The first thing you notice is the colour. It's so deep and dark, yet there is a brightness about it. A beautiful, juicy, plush, ripe malbec from this warm year, which actually seemed particularly well suited to the variety. Loaded with bright red fruits, showing a hint of stewed rhubarb. Soft, succulent and supple, with a juiciness that highlights the vibrancy of the fruit. A really first-rate example of the variety and terrific drinking in the shorter term.
