Nicole Oatley Wines chenin blanc 2024

This new face in WA wine was one of my finds a couple of years ago, and once again it has come up trumps, displaying the remarkable qualities of chenin blanc to emerge triumphant even in challenging and very hot seasons. It is a testament to both vineyard management and winemaking. In this case, it leans more into stone fruit and citrus rather than the tropical notes you might normally expect with chenin. It has a beautiful texture, fine acidity, excellent length, and is yet another illustration of how good chenin blanc can be in the Swan Valley.
