Absolutely nails the variety, the style and captures the best of the season. Peppery dark plummy fruits, hints of dried herbs, charcuterie, chocolate and a lift of red fruit provide a compelling opening. The palate is structured with a chalky, gravelly feel that provides balance to the sweet ripe fruit. It's medium weight with good concentration and intensity, and it has brightness and energy.
