The intensity and power of Margaret River chardonnay is immediately apparent. The nose opens with slightly toasty, savoury, faintly struck match characters, then the palate releases the awesome power of chardonnay from this region. Fine savoury elements and a touch of chalkiness contribute to a palate that is controlled, powerful and extraordinarily long. This is high-class stuff.
