A wine of tremendous complexity, evident immediately on the nose. Aromas of nectarine, cut lime, and lemon rind mingle with subtle smoky gunflint characters. The palate shows the influence of fermentation in a mix of new and old French oak, creating complexity and depth with impeccable balance. That ever-so-slightly struck match character complements the fruit intensity, finishing with a slightly savoury edge that delivers precision and a linear mouthfeel. Outstanding wine.
