Bright, deep red in colour. The nose reveals black raisiny fruits with plummy blackcurrant nuances, and the palate sits in that medium-bodied zone with good fruit intensity and drive. Neatly balanced fine chalky tannins and gently applied oak create a smooth, seamless impression. A slightly grainy texture adds appeal and makes it a fine food wine.
