Probably the best release of this wine to date, which is no surprise given the outstanding year. A slightly cooler season has delivered finesse and elegance, while retaining intensity and fruit complexity. Aromas of red fruits with an underlay of blackcurrant and bay leaf lead into a palate with chalky, slightly minerally characters and a grainy texture. Balanced, refined and medium-bodied but with impressive fruit drive.
