This is consistently one of the best sub-$20 wines on the market. It harnesses these logical bedfellows with the firmness of the cabernet and the fleshy richness of merlot coming together perfectly. Loads of ripe fruit displaying a little blackcurrant and fleshier plumminess with just a little spicy dried herb and even a touch of coffee grind. Balanced, seamless and long. Ideal in the short term.
