What a marvellous expression of Frankland River cabernet in this stunning year. There’s power here, evident initially on the nose with that mix of blackcurrant, tobacco leaf and a subtle regional ironstone minerality. The palate is exquisitely brought together with fine oak integration, working with the medium to full-bodied fruit and supported by fine chalky tannins. It’s elegant, stylish and delivers with tremendous poise.
