Alkoomi Collection Shiraz 2021

Shiraz has always been a strong suit at Alkoomi, and this is an example of a more medium bodied elegant style. The aromas are a mix of spices and black pepper over slightly meaty dark plum and chocolate. The palate is so silky smooth and seamlessly integrated. The fine chalky tannins and just a faint hint of ironstone provide complexity and interest. I like this as a short-term wine.
