A delicious fresh young pinot noir made for immediate drinking. As I sipped, I felt I was in a Spanish tapas bar. Sweet fruit with cherry and raspberry dominance. Soft and supple palate has a light chalky tannin influence. All wild fermented and bottled unfiltered, so you are getting a good window into the vintage.

The cooler southern climes down at Karridale are ideal for pinot. The sweet fruit is balance by nice oak and slightly chalky limestone character. It all makes for excellent drinking.

You've gotta love this baby. It's from an established vineyard in Pemberton. Exotic aromas of violets and strawberries. The palate has tremendous depth and persistence with the use of oak and tannin management superb. The 1000-litre foudres have ensured the oak and fruit integration is harmonious and complete. I'd like to be drinking this over the next five years.

This little vineyard 3 Drops acquired a few years ago consistently produces excellent pinot noir. This one is a beauty. Spicy dark cherry with a lift of aromatic strawberry on the nose. The palate has a spicy influence through the dark cherry fruit flavours. Captures that balance between fragrance and delicacy with a firmish structured core sustaining a long finish.

Shows a softer and more velvety side to this vineyard than the Karriview. Has a delightfully perfumed aroma of dominant dark cherry with some nice, dried herb influences. The palate is velvety smooth and seductively delicious. I love that complex mix of damp earth and African violet. The oak and tannin integration is superb. A cracking wine.
