Smithbrook The Yilgarn blanc de blancs 2022

This has been a wine marked with consistently high quality. It's made in a largely traditional way, in the méthode traditionnelle. And it's kept on lees for about 24 months before disgorgement. In that time, it's started to pick up some nice, oatmeal-like, brioche-like complexity, while still retaining the essentially crisp, lemony fruit. It's got a fine, lingering palate. This is a wine that can be enjoyed as an aperitif now, or with further time in the bottle.
