Some pretty impressive malbecs come out of Frankland River, and this is right up there with any of them. IT has the typical bright malbec red fruits on the nose, seamlessly morphing into the palate. But there is another gravelly ferrous character that adds enormously to the appeal. Highly concentrated but effortlessly presented palate is rich in fruit and intensity.
