The remarkable thing is that Travis Wray has produced a very pretty, stylish wine in such a warm year. It must say something about the vineyard management. Lovely dark fruit on the nose, with a lift of black olive and bay leaf, with an edgy graphite touch. The palate is bright, with lively red fruits lifted by fine, chalky tannins and supported by well-managed oak. This is a classy wine.
