A champion of fortified production in the heart of cabernet and chardonnay country. Just shows what can be done. This bridges the old and new word divide with a little sweet fruit but a drier old-world finish. Spices and caramel toffee with a little sprinkle of cocoa. It has a focussed acute palate that extends to a super long finish. An excellent example of the style.
