Voyager Estate Chardonnay 2023

This is quite a delicate and finessed chardonnay from this marvellous vintage. Has a lifted floral component on the nose with traces of nectarine and light lemon citrus. This is 60% Gingin and the remainder other clones. Starting to use more puncheons and less new oak with less malolactic fermentation, contributing to a fine acid and delicacy. But there is a light mealy complexity and richness but at the same time a crystalline brightness and energy. Less malolactic fermentation helps retain the freshness and vibrancy.
