The source of the fruit for this excellent cabernet is the vineyards in Wilyabrup in this very good cabernet year. An opening salvo of blackcurrant and dark chocolate, and plummy nuances announces this as Margaret River cabernet. It’s generous and intense, but more towards elegance and medium-bodied. Seamlessly integrated, with the use of 30% French oak adding a little palate kick. A complete and polished cabernet.
