Brings together the power and structure of cabernet from these old vines, with the lifted perfumes of merlot on the nose and a slightly plush, plump middle-palate richness. It has a fine, seamless structure with a chalky, minerally thread of tannins, and a nice combination of oak. Perfectly balanced and poised. Most attractive drinking.
