A bit of Bordeaux and a bit of Hermitage all comes together in this mighty powerful expression of the region. It’s a substantial wine loaded with deep dark secrets, which with a little prodding reveal intense liqueur cherry, blackcurrant and layers of chocolate and mulberry. Aromas of bay leaf and graphite emerge with a cedary addition. The palate is drive and urgent through to a very long finish. Has a bright energy.
