Margaret River

Wayfinder is a regenerative wine estate in Wilyabrup. Thirty-seven hectares of certified organic vines (ACO 13155) sit within a 100-hectare property of multiple soil types, three dams and native bushland that continues to expand. Farming comes first, and a market garden, beehives, chickens, and a mob of sheep are all part of how the land is worked. Winemaking is minimal intervention: gravity-fed, multi-vessel and the fruit is picked early so it is naturally higher in acidity and lower in alcohol. The winery and cellar door run off-grid, with all energy generated on site and little to no waste leaving the property. Wayfinder is one of only four Margaret River vineyards in the National Eco Vineyards Program. Andrew Trio has made the wines since 2018, farming and making with the same intent — to express this corner of Wilyabrup, honestly.
