Pretty damn good when you can get a pinot like this for around $20. It shows classic pinot character of dark cherry and slightly earthy, savoury, spicy notes. The cooler southern climes down at Karridale are ideal for pinot. The sweet fruit is balance by nice oak and slightly chalky limestone character. It all makes for excellent drinking.
