Ferngrove Majestic cabernet sauvignon 2023

A thoroughly delightful cabernet from Frankland. The nose shows a compelling mix of black, red and even blue fruits with hints of black olive and bay leaf — classically cabernet. The palate is medium-bodied, typical of the region, with beautifully subtle flavours working neatly with fine minerally tannins and well-judged oak. Blackcurrant, bay leaf and a hint of oyster shell minerality add extra dimension. Just 20% new French oak has been used, perfectly managed to let the fruit shine.
