Highly perfumed, bright fruits on the nose, with a mix of blue and black fruits with a little spice. A telling example of how good this season was. Distinctive notes of blackcurrant, red fruits, bay leaf and dark chocolate resonate on the nose. The palate, while deeply concentrated, remains medium-bodied and supremely elegant. The tannin–oak combination is smooth and seamless, with ripe fruit flavours extending effortlessly through to a sustained finish. Excellent wine.

White Blend

A classic Margaret River blend with added complexity from 10% French oak wild yeast fermentation. The nose shows tropical fruit, light lemon and fresh-cut grass. The palate is zingy and crisp, with passionfruit and a neat lime lift. Perfect for current drinking.

Made from 100% shiraz, the colour is an extraordinary bright pink that almost glows in the glass. Aromas of strawberry, crunchy watermelon and lifted florals. The dry palate shows raspberry-like fruit, fine texture, crisp acidity and appealing freshness. A very drinkable rosé.

A terrific value red from a very good season. Bright, lively fruit shows good concentration and medium body, with loads of plummy blueberry notes on the nose. The palate brings blackberry, subtle fruitcake, and a hint of black olive. Less time in oak, but still, 15% new, adds a spicy lift. Well-structured and seamlessly integrated.

An exquisite expression of shiraz from this little vineyard south of the town. It's medium bodied with dominant black cherry and spicy plum characters on the nose and palate. The palate has a silky-smooth textural feel with a fine thread of chalky tannins and a lick of fine-grained oak nestling neatly within.

I’ve watched closely this wine over many years, and it has to be the best yet. Lifted scented notes of plum and spicy mulberry with a subtle liqueur cherry nuance. It strikes that balance between elegance and style, and concentration and power. It has a grainy slightly gravelly textural influence with chalky supportive tannins. Outstanding.

One of the best chardonnays yet from Brown Hill. Shows more restraint and control than some previous wines, with this cooler vintage obviously contributing. Aromas of melon and light cereal with zippy lime and pear edging in. The palate releases excellent flavour intensity with more of the nectarine stone fruit characteristics evident. There's a crunchy minerality to finish.

A pretty and perfumed chardonnay of good flavour intensity and precision. Aromas of fig and melon with a racy lemon zest. The palate reveals the distinctive varietal cut lime and tart melon characters with some understated creamy oak. A slightly saline minerality completes the wine.

This is a most appealing shiraz from the Wilyabrup area within Margaret River. The aromas reveal distinctly red fruit notes with dark cherry and a lightly sarsaparilla character. The palate is supple, soft, and generous, albeit medium-bodied, yet it offers a long, seamlessly structured finish that captures the variety quite well.
