Mr Barval follows traditional winemaking approaches with classic wine styles. All fruit is hand-picked and wines basket pressed to oak and bottled with no fining or filtering of wines. All wines are aged in French oak (except the Riserva Nebbiolo which is aged in an Italian-crafted Botti) with new oak only used for chardonnay and cabernet. All wines are made on-site by Rob Gherardi from both estate-grown fruit and quality vineyards within the Margaret River Region. Wines are available at the cellar door and online.
