Hillbillé is a family-run boutique vineyard in the Blackwood Valley, situated on the tourist drive between Nannup and Balingup. Owned by Lloyd Douglas’ Blackwood Valley Estate, the 75-hectare property overlooks the Blackwood River and features a range of varieties including chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, semillon, sauvignon blanc, malbec and viognier. Producing small batches under the Hillbillé label, the vineyard also supplies fruit to other winemakers. Its wines reflect the region’s cool climate, with the Reserve chardonnay, Signature shiraz viognier and cabernet sauvignon among its recognised releases.
