Clairault chardonnay 2022

This is quite a lovely lighter-bodied style of chardonnay, but one that still has complexity and interest with the use of French oak in both the fermentation and maturation stages. The aromas show a slight stone fruit nectarine lift, while the palate has a subtle chalky edge that controls the fine stone fruit and honey-like characters. It's seamlessly integrated with a fine long palate and ideal for the next 5 years.
