This wine was sourced from down near the Porongurups near the Kalgan River, and it shows that light, somewhat refined medium body that this area is noted for. Has a quite perfumed cherry and plum note, with a little creamy vanilla note on the palate. A savoury mix of dark plummy fruit, a subtle gaminess, and a lift of spice carries through to a long velvety smooth finish. Nice wine in the medium term.
