Snake + Herring Black Betty Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

This is a powerhouse Cabernet, sourced from Margaret River. It opens immediately with an intense and driving aroma of blackcurrant, black olive, and a little bay leaf. The palate is still quite tightly held, with the deep black fruits releasing with drive through to a long finish. It has a chalky, slightly minerally oyster shell thread, and the fine knit of oak and tannin is holding it tight and close. It has everything there to develop over the medium to longer term. First-rate wine.
