Gralyn Estate Artizan Rare Muscat

A glorious expression of one of the great wine styles of Australia. It's loaded with rich dark fruits, releasing a combination of butterscotch, raisiny fruitcake, a little orange peel, and, of course, a lifted spiciness. It's developed over many years a slightly rancio complexity, which is what you want in this style, and it is multi-layered and complex. Multi-layered and deeply intense, and rich. A luxurious glimpse of what we used to drink. I love the way this has combined the old, deeply concentrated material with additional fresh elements to bring the palate to life.
