Thomas William Wines sauvignon blanc 2025

This is an excellent example of a southern Margaret River sauvignon blanc that received 100% barrel fermentation in older oak, where it stayed for 6 months. This could easily have got out of hand, and yet the oak and fruit balance is superb. On the nose, there’s a lovely floral, slightly subdued nuttiness with a little lift of citrus. The palate has real energy, with lemony stone fruit richness, and that oak sitting snugly within maintains a linear feel.
