This is a bold and distinctive take on this largely Left Bank variety. The perfumed aromas with their lift of violets and other florals are the stamp of cabernet franc. The palate is powerful and highly linear with chalky ironstone tannins taking it to a very long and defined finish. The firm tannins and oak should support this for extended cellaring.
