Clairault cabernet sauvignon 2022

Wow, you're getting a decent bang for your buck with this cabernet from this excellent vintage in Margaret River. Opens with a punchy hit of blackcurrant and blackberries with a slightly ironstone graphite and oyster shell minerality. The palate is quite vibrant with juicy blackberry and slightly plummy notes emerging, balanced by some fine oak. There's power here, but it's more in the medium-bodied zone and a thoroughly elegant and refined example of Margaret River cabernet.
