Fraser Gallop Estate Parterre chardonnay 2024

Another excellent wine from Fraser Gallop, showing the finesse and delicacy of the chardonnay style that has evolved here over several years. The fruit comes off quite low-yielding vines, and there was then a whole bunch pressed with wild yeast ferment before maturation in oak for about eight months. Shows a nice creamy lemon curd and subtle quince paste palate. Finally integrated with oak. It has a distinctly linear mouth feel, but there is texture. A most polished example of Margaret River chardonnay.
