Forest Hill Mount Barker chardonnay 2024

A very tidy chardonnay that comes from three different sites on the Forest Hill Vineyard and Highbury Fields, with a combination of Gin Gin and Bernard clones. Richness and texture have been built in but have not been overdone. Instead, it creates a complexity of savoury fruit characters and a slightly minerally chalky character, accentuating the dry finish. Very nice wine.
