Thunderstone riesling 2025

Oh yeah. You just have to love Porongurup riesling. The 2025 vintage, albeit slightly warmer, worked really well as a vintage in the cooler climes of the Porongurup. There's tremendous intensity initially on the nose, with a lemon rind and slightly pithy emerging character. A little spice and bath salts, and then a palate that is deeply intense, with good, slightly pulpy fleshiness, threaded with a fine minerally acidity and a slightly spicy, talcy character. Beautifully textured and thoroughly enjoyable. First-rate example of Porongurup riesling.
