Thunderstone pinot noir 2025

Gosh, there are some excellent pinots coming out of the Porongurup. It's a small region, but it makes a big statement with this variety, and this is another one. Such a beautifully seductive, perfumed aroma to open. This is classic pinot. The light-bodied palate is absolutely seamless and harmonious, with a fine weave of silky tannins, gentle oak and that plush, velvety fruit combining into such a compelling expression of the variety. There's energy, slight juiciness, but then there's a subtle savoury finish to tighten and focus. First-rate wine.
