McHenry Hohnen Calgardup Brook Vineyard chardonnay 2024

This is a wine that always shows the distinctive character of this vineyard. It’s a finer, tighter, and leaner style of chardonnay, but it still carries tremendous intensity and fruit concentration, perfectly harnessed. There’s a crisp, minerally, spicy citrus character, with a trace of lemon curd and grapefruit. A slightly salty sea spray note adds further complexity. An excellent wine.
